We live in a rapidly changing industry. The value of music (streaming and licensing) has been reduced to almost nothing, not to mention the flood of poorly produced music and music libraries. Yet, with the advancement of plugins and samples we have the ability to create music that rivals the huge scores of blockbuster movies and at a fraction of the cost. If you’re like me, and you make music because it’s in your blood and have a high standard of what makes great music, but still needs to meet a budget, then we should collaborate! I'm not here to peddle my services, I’m looking for long term friendships and collaborators, so I can get to know what drives you and your music and help to bring that to fruition.
I’ve been in the industry for over 12 years and in this time I’ve had the opportunity to apprentice under 3 world class mixers. I’ve learned an immense wealth of knowledge from these amazing mixers and have since mixed 1000’s of tracks including mixing for Robert Duncan for the ABC Show Take Two, Jake Monaco for Incredibles 2 Commercials, The folk duo Colin & Caroline used in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why.
I’ve also been heavily involved in producing and even performing on many of these tracks, giving me the advantage of hearing a mix through the lens of a producer and a song-writer, which helps me sort through large, heavily layered mixes, find the heart of a track and bring focus and cohesion to a song. The technical, mixer side of my brain can then take the track even further sonically, adding depth and dimension, warmth, harmonics, and musical automation that breathes life into sterile samples and sounds. A necessity with fully sample based music and digital recordings.
If this sounds like a collaboration that interests you and you want to work together to make the best music we can, then don’t hesitate to contact me below. I look forward to making music!
